This device is composed of the remote control interlock controller and the remote control interlock relay. The remote control interlock controller realizes, through a pair of shielded twisted pair (STP), the management of the remote control interlock relay. Through the normally-open contacts of the remote control interlock relay in series with the control circuit for remote control and local operation, the forcible interlocking of the operation of electrically operated equipment can be realized. After receiving an operation command, the remote control interlock controller, through the system bus, transmits this command to the remote control interlock relay in series with the control circuit. The remote control interlock relay realizes unlocking or interlocking operation.
The device provides local and remote operation. It has the following functions: overall unlocking, overall interlocking, and single-point manual unlocking, which are used for remote operation in an emergency.
The distributed controller uses a 16-bit double-embedded CPU system. The external interface uses optical coupled isolation, which improves the device’s ability to resist interference. The external communication interface uses RS232 and RS485 standards. All the remote control interlock relays use industrial chips. The system supports the program’s on-line downloading. The system bus has functions of short-circuit and over-voltage protection.
